Can I mention any popular name in my film script?

Hello Mr. Wright I hope you enjoy your holiday. Actually i wanted to know, can I mention some popular name in my stories? Like public figures, singers, actors, famous persons, because there are some ideas in my mind to bring someone like I said in one of my stories. I wanna know if it's ok or not what should I do about it. Thank you and merry Christmas

Thank you for suggestion. Yes it is easy for me to write both after I finish one of them first. But I was talking about another story, whatever thanks a lot and Happy New Year

HI Allen,

Yes, it is up to you if you want to mention public figures, singers, actors, or famous persons inside your film script.

In my opinion, your sample stories were very, very good and they did not need any popular names.

If you decide to include popular names and a professional film producer wishes to buy your screenplay, the producer can easily make changes to the film script after buying it.

If you have time or if you feel it is easy, write it out both ways. Write your screenplay with popular names and without popular names.

It might be easier to see which film script is better when you can compare both versions side by side in front of you.
