Can I add my soundtracks to my own film script?

Hello Mr. Wright, good day to you. I'm nearly finished on my film script prototype. I'll do changes to it soon, I'm so excited to finish it. There's something I want to know that if I can put the soundtracks I recorded to my film script. There are two or three soundtracks I have and I can record and I want to know if it would be possible to add them to my film script. Thank you

Yes, it is possible to sell your soundtracks with your film script. When you find a producer who is interested in buying your film script, you would offer the soundtracks to the film producer.

You know me Mr. Wright. I really like my soundtracks to be added on my film script scenes.

I'm not going to film my own movie cause I don't have time for that but I can record some soundtracks and I want to know if I can sell them with my film script.

Hi Allen,

Congratulations on nearly finishing your film script! Great job!! I am so happy for you :)

You do not have to include any soundtracks in your film script.

If you are only going to write your film script and then sell your film script to a producer, you will simply tell the producer about the soundtracks that should be used with your film script.

If you are going to grab a camera and film your film on your own, you do not have to include any soundtracks in your film script.

After you film your own film, you will add your soundtracks when you are editing your film. This is called post-production.
