Online Education and Creative Writing

I want to learn Creative Writing through your online education web site.

Hi Kevin! I was so pleased to go through your site on online education.

I was interested to take up a creative writing program in the United States by enrolling in one of the universities there. This was more than 20 years ago.

I live in Mumbai, India. Due to one reason or the other I could not go to the U.S. to study. But I pursued my study through the U.S.I.S. libraries in India.

Today I am a freelance journalist living in India. I wonder if you can help me and if so please give me all details.

Yes, you will be able to learn creative writing through my school.

There are a few different types of creative writing. Here is a list of a few common types of writing…

• Poetry and poems
  
• Playwriting – the writing of plays and live stage plays
  
• Biographies – stories about people
  
• Graphic novels and comic books
  
• Memoirs and autobiographies – self writings about the author
  
• Short stories
  
• Screenwriting – movies, films, tv shows
  
• Novels
  

Each of these types of creative writing can be based on real-life events or imaginary events.

In the next month or two (November 2013 – December 2013), my online film school will be open, up and running with several part-courses available.

• The classes are free and will be available 24 hours every day and 7 days every week.

My film school online will only focus on the Screenwriting type of creative writing. (my response continues on the next page)
